Book Launch: 100 Things to Do in the South Carolina Lowcountry Before You Die
Stop by on October 1, 2025, from 5:00-7:00pm, at The Arsenal at the Visit Beaufort Visitor Center.

Steeped in rich history, lush natural landscapes, Gullah culture, and oh-so-Southern charm and hospitality, 100 Things to Do in the South Carolina Lowcountry Before You Die is filled with places to see, things to do, tasty bites not to miss, and where to pick up that perfect gift.
Celebrate local culture and adventure with the release of a brand-new guidebook that spotlights the very best the Lowcountry has to offer. Held in the historic courtyard of the Beaufort Arsenal, this event will feature refreshments, book sales, and a chance to meet the authors. It’s a perfect midweek outing for anyone who wants to discover (or rediscover) all the hidden gems of our region.
Meet the authors, grab a signed copy of the book, mingle with fellow book enthusiasts, and enjoy tasty bites from Beaufort restaurants that are featured in the book (including Blacksheep X Sabbatical, Locals Raw Bar, Plums, Herban Market, and more), while sipping libations from Tacaron and Shellring Ale Works (also featured in the book), all while discovering new insights about the South Carolina Lowcountry.
When: Wednesday, October 1, 5–7 p.m. Where: The Beaufort Arsenal
