On the heels of the Harriet Tubman memorial statue being unveiled in Downtown Beaufort, this weekend will host the Black Moses Freedom Festival in honor of Harriet Tubman.

Kayaking Combahee River Tour 10am, Combahee River Tour (Bus w/ Patt Gunn) 11am, Festival 12pm-6pm, Sip & Paint Event at Gullah Art Gallery 4pm, Liberation Mixer/Performances 7:30-11pm
June 9th
Sunday Salutations: yoga, meditation, sound bowls, acupuncture 12pm-2pm. 2pm: Tea Tasting and Brunch with Wayne of Ashford Tea Company inside Sandies at the Gullah Jazz Cafe at the BCBCC.

Saturday, June 8 - Ribaut Run
Celebrate Port Royal's 150th Anniversary by participating in the Ribaut Run 5K & 10K on Saturday March 9th at Live Oaks Park.

June 14- Petals & Stars Social Tea Party

Come to the inaugural Petals & Stars Center social event on Friday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 69 Robert Smalls Pkwy, Suite 1B in Beaufort. Sit for a bit to write notes, talk with community group members, and be part of a growing movement to help the Petals & Stars nonprofit spread hope here and around the world.
