Do you know a young girl who dreams of stepping into the boots of a firefighter? The Sparking Embers Girls Fire Boot Camp is back for 2025, offering an exciting, hands-on experience for young women interested in firefighting, emergency response, and leadership.
This unique program, hosted by the City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department, gives participants the opportunity to train alongside real firefighters, build confidence, and develop critical life skills.
Who Can Apply?
β Girls ages 13-18
β High school students interested in fire service, leadership, and teamwork

Camp Details
π Dates: June 23 β June 26, 2025
π Location: City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Station 2 (1120 Ribaut Road)
π Time: Monday β Thursday, 8:30 AM β 12:30 PM
π° Cost: FREE!
Participants will receive training in CPR, First Aid, auto extrication, and all aspects of firefighting, while also learning about firehouse life and leadership development. Those who complete the boot camp will graduate with a certificate from the Fire Department command staff.
How to Apply

βοΈ Obtain a recommendation letter from a current teacher.
