- 30th Annual Beaufort Shrimp Festival
Kick off October with this Lowcountry favorite on October 4th and 5th at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. Sample dishes from local restaurants, enjoy live music, and celebrate the area's rich shrimping tradition. The event is free, but food and drink will be available for purchase.

3. Lowcountry Fish & Grits Music Festival
Celebrate Gullah Geechee culture at this festival on October 5th, featuring delicious food and local music. We all dread the drive across the bridge, but this is one event taking place on Hilton Head Island that is well worth the drive from Beaufort!
4. Habersham Harvest Festival
Held from October 11th to 13th in the picturesque Habersham Marketplace, this family-friendly event features live music, artisan vendors, local food, and activities for all ages. 5.Port Royal Farmers Market
Every Saturday in October, visit the Port Royal Farmers Market for fresh produce, artisanal goods, and community vibes. Open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this weekly event is a great way to support local vendors while enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
