First Friday, Nov. 1 Downtown Beaufort

First Friday is a monthly celebration in historic downtown Beaufort. Held on the first Friday of each month from 5 to 8 p.m., the November event features aerial performers, train rides, a petting zoo and more!

📕 Friends of the Beaufort Library Book Festival - Nov. 1-3

Held at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park, this event offers over 40,000 used books, music, and movies. It’s an ideal opportunity for book lovers to find unique titles and support the local library. 📚

Heritage Days at Penn Center - Nov. 7-9

Scheduled for November 7-9, this three-day event on St. Helena Island includes cultural demonstrations, storytelling, African drumming, dancing, and traditional Gullah foods like a fish fry and crab crack. The festival also features a symposium on heritage preservation, a parade, live performances, and activities for families, making it a comprehensive showcase of Gullah and West African traditions.
