Free Summer Tobacco Education Program for Youth in Beaufort & Bluffton

Nexus Care is offering a free Tobacco Education Program this summer designed to help young people better understand the real impact of nicotine, vaping, and marijuana.

The program will run as three separate two-day sessions, each totaling six hours of instruction. Participants will learn how nicotine and marijuana affect the brain and body, how addiction develops, and how tobacco and marijuana companies market their products to influence young consumers. The class also introduces practical coping strategies to help youth manage stress in healthier ways.

Sessions will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the first session scheduled for June 3 and 4. Additional sessions will be offered in July and August, with dates to be announced.

Classes are held in person at two locations:

  • Beaufort: 1905 Duke Street, Room 290, Beaufort, SC 29902
  • Bluffton: 4819 Bluffton Parkway, Suite 303, Bluffton, SC 29910

The program is completely free. Families interested in enrolling their child are encouraged to register through the ticket link and check back for updates on upcoming session dates.

This is a valuable opportunity to give youth the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their health.
